Ms. Langford grew up in Mesquite, Texas, and after graduating from Mesquite High School, her first career path took her into Emergency Medical Services, where she worked at first as an EMT, and then as a Paramedic for many years. Education, however, was and is her true calling, so she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Studies, and began teaching Latin and English in Mesquite ISD. After spending eleven years in the classroom, and earning a Master’s degree in Administration and a second Master’s degree in Library Science, Mrs. Langford became a school librarian before moving into campus leadership. She served as a testing coordinator and then as an assistant principal in Mesquite ISD before coming to Crandall and serving as the principal of Wilson Elementary.
Mrs. Langford lives in Talty, with her husband of 26 years, her youngest daughter, and her two boxers. She also has a son who is a graduate of Texas Tech and a daughter who is a graduate of UNT. Mrs. Langford has served a total of 24 years, so far, in public education, and looks forward to many more years leading Wilson!
