CISD closed Wednesday, Feb. 17
The extreme cold has placed critical demand on the state’s power grid. With the rolling power outages continuing throughout North Texas and our area, there will be no in-person learning, or remote learning, tomorrow - Wednesday, Feb. 17. Campuses and district support offices will be closed.
State law limits school closing decisions to just one day at a time. When a determination is made about Thursday, we will let you know as soon as possible.

If severe weather persists, CISD will transition to remote learning when school resumes Wednesday, Feb. 17
CISD is closed Monday for President’s Day. Tuesday is Staff Development/Student Holiday. If severe weather does not allow us to return to school in-person Wednesday, Feb. 17, we will transition to remote learning. If this transition takes place, additional information regarding student logins, Google Classroom and other resources will be shared Tuesday with students and families.
